Christmas 2002

 Christmas in Wenvoe 2002 and the Flav's came around for dinner.

Springsteen in London - 2002

We drove up to London to see the Bruce Springsteen concert at Wembley area. We booked into our hotel and then walked over to St Joseph's club for pre show drinks.

It was one of the final show at the old arena and Bruce rocked the capacity crowd with one of his mamouth shows.

               

The following day we walked over to see the major reconstruction at Wembley Stadium.

A move to the village of Wenvoe -2002

 We decided to move house and made the move to the village of  Wenvoe that sits just outside the City of  Cardiff.

On a very warm day, Sean and Lee were a huge help to us making the move.

We moved into a 3 bedroom dorma bungalow in a quiet cul de sac.

A Trip on the MV Balmoral.

 Along with Mandy's mum, Edith, we drove down to Penarth to board the pleasure boat M/V Balmoral. On a fine Day we enjoyed a leisurely cruise along the Bristol Channel.

Mandy got a surprise after she finished work when Rob presented her with a car. Mandy soon named her Ford Fiesta..... "Fanny"

June 2002 Sarah and Leighton's wedding party.

 The Wedding party for Sarah and Leighton was held at The Coal Exchange in the Docklands of Cardiff. It was a good chance to catch up with some old friends.

Our first visit to the Island of Cyprus -2002

 In June 2002 we flew from Cardiff,UK to Paphos airport in Cyprus.

Our base for our visit was the Mirimare hotel with was situated on the coast in Limassol.

We took a trip out to Limassol bay on the catamaran Mediterraneo and sailed across to Cape Gata.

We then decide to hire a car and took a trip up to the Troodos mountains. We explored the village of Platres and superb views from the highest point, Mount Olympus. 

We stopped off for lunch in the village of Pedhoulas at the Two flowers restaurant.

The following day we drove over to the coastal village of Pissouri, our first stop was for coffee at The Two friends which has wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. We then drove on down to Pissouri bay where we had a lovely lunch over looking the sea.

February. Robin and Johan flew into the UK from Sweden

 Robin and Johan flew into the UK fro Sweden for a visit. They were now old enough to visit the local pub with Lisa and Lee for a game of pool and also a trip to the bowling alley.

The next day we took them over to the "Big Pit colliery" mining museum and took the cage deep into the mine for a well informed tour. 

Mandy then took the twins down to Bournemouth to see their Grandmother.
