RT's birthday, Doe a deer and a Triple crown

 We made our way over to Arthur and Jane's house to celebrate Arthur's birthday, Jane laid on a delicious lunch and it was even warm enough to sit outside.

Back in the UK we received a  delightful video of our three year God daughter breaking into song.

The week finished with a very exciting rugby match between Wales against England. The exciting and incident filled match ended up Wales winning 40 -24 and lifting the Triple Crown.

Yet another Birthday rolls Around and a House with History

 Rob celebrated another birthday, this one was obviously a somewhat subdued affair with just a couple of friends popping over to help the old fella celebrate. Once again Mandy baked a wonderful cake, this time it was walnut and Coffee.

Recently we took a walk along the beach at Pissouri bay and noticed a building that we had not seen before due to the fact that the council had cut down some high standing bushes. We did a bit of digging into the background of the house and we were informed that it once belonged to the Greek film maker, Michael Cacoyannis.

Michael was from Limassol and probably his most famous film was "Zorba the Greek "

A February walk and a new local radio station

 On a beautiful  Sunday morning we took advantage of the superb February weather for a stroll along Pissouri bay.  It was good to see so many people enjoying the Winter sunshine.

A new local radio station for Pissouri was launched this week. "Pissouri Chariandry Radio"programmes are broadcast in the Greek language.  We wish them well.

Cakes and Sunsets

  The Covid 19 restrictions continue with very few visitors to the island and bars and restaurants still closed, but this week all other shops and stores reopened.

Earlier in the week, Mandy managed to take some photos of a stunning sunset. 

Mandy also put her cooking skills to good use by baking a  birthday cake for a friend.
