We were Kindly invited to Wedding of Naomi and Ghattas. Naomi was a college of Mandy's at a Local Hospital.

A Trip to the Greek Islnd of Zakynthos
We took a trip to the Greek Island of Zakynthos. Our base was in the small resort of Kalamaki beach.
We took a boat trip out to Navagio beach, which is also known a shipwreck beach.
It is unsure when the MV Panayiotis washed ashore, sometime in the early 1989's and its believed that the ship was used by smugglers. Whatever the reason, it makes for a striking scene.
Michaelo's Tavern was was of our favourite place to eat, a family run Taverna
We decided to hire a car and explore the Island. We found some wonderful secluded coves to relax and swim in the crystal clear water.
While we were in Zakynthos the European Football Championships were taking place and Underdog, Greece reached the final where they played Portugal. We went along to a local Taverna to watch the match....and low and behold the Greek team caused a major upset by winning the Final 1-0.
At the Final whistle the Taverna exploded in to joyous scence of celebration and we never bought a dink for the rest of the night.
