On the way home to Cyprus we made a 24 hour stop off at the Middle Eastern country of Bahrain. Our base for our short stay in Bahrain was The Gulf Gate Hotel.
After a few hours of much needed sleep, we wandered the streets and visited the central market and Gold Souk,
The Bahrain skyline is dominated by a huge number of building projects, especially on the coast of the City of Manama. Away from the coast you can still wander the small streets and alleyways of the old town and see how the locals go about their daily living.
