For this year's festive holidays we took the four and a half hour flight from Larnaca, Cyprus to London Heathrow.
Our carrier was British airways, after using BA a couple of years ago we gave them rave reviews but this time we disappointed with their cabin service, which we thought was impersonal.
We landed at terminal 5 and jumped in ULTRa Pod, a driverless 2 person pod, that took us to our airport hotel.
The next morning we picked up our hire car and headed for South Wales and booked in to The Future Inn, in Cardiff Bay.

On another chilly evening we made our way down to the Pissouri Bay bar for a quick drink before having a lovely meal at the Saffron Indian restaurant.
This Sunday the local village elections were held for the village council and the position of Mukhtar (head of the council.) The results returned a new council which have some forward thinking ideas to enhance Pissouri.

The begining of December brought three days of stormy weather to Cyprus with heavy rain and high winds.
The Festive season began with the Christmas dinner and quiz at The Hillview restaurant in Pissouri. A large turn out of teams made for an enjoyable night out. Our team, "Under Pressure", did not trouble the leaders but came in with a respectable mid table position.
Back in South Wales, Lisa and her friends braved the cold snap to take part in the "Riendeer Run" which raises funds for cancer research.
On Sunday, Sheena and Bryan invite us to thier home for an early Christmas dinner, after a superb meal the dreaded "Secret Santa" provided the entertainment.
