Lady's Mile Beach and Michael's Steakhouse

In an effort to Relax after a long weekend , we made our way over to Lady's Mile beach which lies just outside the Port of Limassol. The seawater at this time of year is still warm and a pleasure to swim in.








We had lunch in the Oasis restaurant which consisted of a couple of impressive salads. We spent the afternoon lazing in the sunshine.

In the evening, Lisa and Andrew walked down to Micheal's Steakhouse in Pissouri. They were both very impressed with the quality of the food and the standard of service.

Sweden, Pissouri Beach and the Hillview

Mandy flew out of Larnaca to Stockholm (Sweden ) to visit her two sons. The first thing  Mandy noticed on arriving in Sweden was the severe drop in temperature, which meant she had wrap up in Winter clothes for the first time in seven months, quite a shock to the system.

Lisa and Andrew spent the day down at Pissouri beach and hired a wave runner to explore some of the coast line.

In the evening they invited Rob over to The Hillview restaurant for a meal, the food and service, as always, were excellent. After dinner Lisa and Andrew got to taste Zivania for the first time, an acquired taste.

The "Nutty Boys" ....Complete Madness

On a Very warm evening, Lisa and Andrew joined us as we made our way down to Pissouri village, we had a quick beer and Pizza before making our way to the Amphitheater  to watch the Tribute act " Complete Madness".

The Live act were superb and very entertaining and soon had the crowd on the dance floor with all those old all Madness and Ska songs.

Neighbours and Wedding plans

The weekend started early with a visit to The Hideaway restaurant in Pissouri. We were accompanied by our previous neighbours, Mike and Tina. Rob said that the steak that he ordered was the finest he had had in his time in Pissouri.

On Friday we picked up Lisa and Andrew from Paphos airport, the recently engaged couple were over on a brief visit to tell us all about their wedding 
plans.

















We popped over to the Panorama lounge for a quick drink and to watch the sunset before returning home lovely meal.  After our meal Lisa surprised Rob by asking him to walk her down the aisle on her wedding day.

Jude's 3rd Birthday and Boyband Legends

The Pissouri amphitheater was the venue for a concert of "Boyband Legends".
A large crowd turned out to see and hear all the old dance moves and hit songs.

Jude celebrated his 3rd Birthday, his parents set up his tent and filled it with gifts wrapped in dinosaur paper.
Jude and Sister, Cari then shared a birthday ice cream before heading out to the cinema to watch "Alladin"

A Birthday Bash and the Cool Kids on Holiday

On a beautiful, late Summer's evening we were invited to Elaine's 60th Birthday bash  in Pissouri. The  party was held around the pool at their house and the guests were served some very tasty food that was cooked by Bob and Linda.
Phil and Mark provided the music as the guests danced the night away. 

Meanwhile back  in the UK, the Cool Kids ( Cari and Jude) made their way up to North Wales for a short family break. The stopped off at Snowdonia National park to take in some of the stunning views.

A night at Bonamare

The Bonamare beach bar at Timi beach near Pafos was the venue for a show featuring Ms Debonaire and a "Robbie Williams" tribute act performed by Chris Campbell.

Dire Straits tribute act

The Dire Straits tribute act, "Money for nothing" came to Pissouri amphitheater and wowed the crowd with a superb live performance. In front of a sizeable crowd the band  covered all the old hits from the 1980's.

Lee's Business, Holly's visit and KB beach

Our friends Holly and her dad, Jamie flew in from the UK for a visit to Cyprus,our first stop was the Panorama lounge for a refreshing drink.

Friday night saw us having a fish supper down at KB beach as the  Red/Ruby moon rose above the sea.

Rob's cousin Lee, made the UK National News this week when he was voted in the top 12 young buisiness men in Wales.

Lee worked for 10 years as a mortgage adviser before making the leap into starting his own business. He founded Rateswitch, a free online tool that uses a three-step process to help homeowners reduce their mortgage payments, last year, and he says the company has been valued at around £1m.
