We returned to the UK to attend the wedding of Lee (Rob's cousin) and Sarah. We left Paphos airport on a beautiful clear day and we had superb views of the Greek islands as we cruised high above them. We landed at a chilly Birmingham airport, picked up our hire car and headed South.
The day next day started for us at The Old Barn Inn which is situated just outside Newport, South Wales, UK. The hotel was to be the setting for the post wedding celebrations and it proved to be the ideal venue with wonderful food, superb staff creating a truly memorable atmosphere.
The song and dance show "Talk of the town" came to the Pissouri Amphitheatre and the produced a wonderful show including numerous show tunes and music from the 60's.

We have both been feeling under the weather over the last week, we even had to cancel our Wedding anniversary dinner. We both now feel a lot better and are looking forward to Lee and Sarah's wedding Next week.
With time on our hands we tried out this New travel site below.....
Once again the Island of Cyprus hits the International News headlines, this time regarding the ongoing crisis in Syria. According to the Cyprus Mail.......
"Britain is sending six RAF Typhoon jets to Cyprus as a defensive measure amid growing tensions over Syria and talks of Western military intervention. Cyprus is a mere 100km from the Syrian coast and the city of Latakia, Assad’s hometown and recently re-captured by government forces.
With two sovereign bases in Cyprus, the UK is also taking steps to increase security and military forces on the island. While the Cypriot Foreign Minister, Ioannis Kasoulides has stated that he does not expect the UK sovereign bases to play a major part in a military strike, it seems naïve to think so."
On a warm August afternoon, Pissouri's very own cowboy, John, took his trusty steed, Sonny, down to Pissouri Bay for a cooling beer and Ice Cream.

News reaches us from the UK about Lee's Stag weekend to Kilkenny in Ireland. Lee's friends dressed him up in a shocking Pink outfit as a Jedward (popular Irish duo) fan. I am sure that he got plenty of strange looks at Cardiff and Dublin airport.
On Friday evening with went over to Sheena and Bryan's house for a lovely meal and we even learnt what a "Wibble" was.
On Saturday night we trundled down to the 1911 club to watch a Michael Buble tribute act.

On Sunday we drove out to Curium beach for a relaxing lunch, a bask in the sun and a cooling swim in the Med.
Just a quick mention for the "Bluebirds Unite" action group who are trying to reinstate the traditional Blue shirts to Cardiff City Football club.
The Tribute act, The Vox Beatles, came to Pissouri Amphitheather and entertained a Full house.
The Fab Four soon had the crowd dancing the night away as they played a string of hits from the 60's.
