A Trip to Thessaloniki

We decided to take a short break to the Greek city of Thessaloniki, the flight from Cyprus took 1hr 40mins. Our base for our visit was The Avra hotel which is situated in the coastal town of Perea.

The area had been hit by a storm two days before we

arrived and the shoreline was covered in debris. 

We took a stroll along the seafront stopping off for the occasional drink. We ended up at "The Myth"  restaurant where we received a warm welcome, we enjoyed a meal of hake and finished off sharing a drink of raki flavoured with honey and cinnamon.
