We left Bridgetown on a lovely Summer's evening and took the 7 hour flight to Gatwick, London, the first thing we noticed as we arrived at 6.30 am was that the temperature was only just above freezing which was a bit of a shock to the system. Clive soon picked up and Carmel made us a lovely cooked breakfast at the Cumberland guest house before retiring for some much needed sleep.
The next day we hopped on a train at Horley train station and made our way to the town of Guilford which is about 40 minutes away. We explored the streets of the town and then made our way up to the impressive cathedral.
On the Wednesday morning we had a very early flight out of London back to Cyprus, we were pleasently surprised to find a temp of 24 degrees and sunshine awaiting us back in Paphos.
