Village Fire and a weather Warning

A nasty fire broke out on the scrub land on the edge of the village. Several fire engines from the Episkopi garrison turned out and soon had the fire under control. Thankfully there was no one injured and no damage to property.

The island of Cyprus has been issued with a weather warning for the next few days. "It appears likely that a strong baroclinic / frontal zone will establish across central Europe and result in a very (extremely) strong temperature contrast between western and eastern Europe.
