A Merry Christmas to all our Blog visitors
Christmas day started with a trip down to Pissouri bay for a beach breakfast of Champagne and sausage sandwiches. Jan and Steve were brave enough for a dip in the sea.

Next stop was The Pissouriana for a pre lunch drink with friends and neighbours. We then returned home where Mary and Mandy cooked a superb Christmas dinner.

A hike from Plataniskia.
During a break in this Month's wet weather, Rob and Steve took the opportunity to go for a hike in the local hills. Their starting point was the village of Plataniskia, they then walked South, following the valley of a dried up river bed.
A lunch break was taken on top of a high plateau with superb views of the surrounding countryside. A nest of insects was found and the insects had strange makings on their bodies.
The Hike continued South through local vinyards and arable land to the finishing point at Pissouri Bay.

Carols in the Square
Thankfully the heavy rain subsided long enough for this years "Carols in the square" to take place. Mulled wine and mince pies were provided by he PRA as the excited crowd waited for this years Christmas draw. Steve and Mary won a fish supper at a local Tavern.
We then returned home for a warming meal and an Irish coffee.

Lunch and Karaoke.
Lileth and Kevin invited us to lunch at their house. A superb home cooked meal was enjoyed by all the guests. Then the dreaded kareoke machine came out. A perfect way to spend a rainy, Sunday afternoon.
