Meibion Morlais male voice choir in Paphos

On an overcast morning we drove over to Paphos and booked into the Queen's bay hotel. As soon as we arrived at the hotel the sun came out and we met up with Paul, Judith and a few members of the choir for a beer on the terrace.

In the evening we hopped on the Choir's bus and headed over to Paphos harbour where we boarded the Ocean vision yacht. We met up with Judith and Paul and Tracey and Myles for a catch up on the News from the village of Mandria. 

We took our seats and were then entertained by the Morlais male voice choir from South Wales. The Choir sang a mixture of songs and they even did a rendition of the Cyprus  national anthem with some members of the crew.

We then enjoyed a very good buffet  before  heading back to the Queen's bay.

          

The following morning we took a stroll on the coastal Path that runs from the Queen's Bay towards Paphos. The timing was lucky because as sat down for breakfast, the heavens opened up and it poured down with rain.

        

Tania and Pete's Wedding

 We were kindly invited to the Wedding of our friends Tania and Pete. The blessing took place at the Panorama lounge in Pissouri. With sweeping views of the local countryside the happy couple exchanged their vows in front of family and friends.

Tania and Pete then walked through the village to the Pissouriana hotel, where we enjoyed a meal and were entertained by vocalist "Una".

More guests arrived in the evening to help the newly married couple celebrate their marriage and dance the night away.

Easter in the UK 2023

 Back in South Wales, the Easter bunny visited the Cool kids house and Jude and Cari had fun with their Easter egg hunt.

They then headed down to Lisa and Andrew's house to enjoy the weekend sunshine in the hot-tub.

Meanwhile, Lisa and Andrew enjoyed a day out with friends.
