Well this "unusual" Year came to and end with us dressing up and visiting a few friends houses where they had the same idea. It was good to put all the Covid problems behind us and just enjoy a night out.
Mark and Phil were kind enough to invite us to their house for a New Year's eve fancy dress party and the guests danced, sang, laughed and had a couple of drinks to see the New Year in.
Christmas day started of with a beautiful morning and we began it with a long walk along the coastline.
It the afternoon we joined Pete and Tonya for a Christmas lunch at the Two friends taverna in Pissouri.

and for the Cool kids back in the UK, the big day finally arrived as they enjoyed a family Christmas day at Andrew and Lisa's house.
Christmas Eve brought snow to the top of the Troodos mountains, which could be clearly seen from Pissouri.
On a bright, crisp afternoon we made our way down to the Pissouriana hotel where we met a few friends for Christmas drinks. There were lots of good outfits and plenty of laughs.
Lynn and John along with two helpers visited the local School dressed as Santa and his/her helpers. There was much excitement s Santa Lynn handed out some Christmas Gifts to the local kids
The Hillview hotel in Pissouri was the venue for this year's PRA (Pissouri residents Association) Christmas party. The guests were dressed in their finest and enjoyed some fine food, wine and lots of giggles.
The entertainment was provided by Ben Mills and Andrea Morelli, who soon had the crowd singing along to all the old classic hits.

Then there was a visit to a nieghbour's house where a superb Winter display was a must see.
Mandy joined the ladies from her craft group who set up a stall at the Midway taverna to sell jewellery to raise much needed funds for Sled dog charity.
This charity aims to help the Huskie breed that need to be rehomed in countries that have a kinder climate for the breed than Cyprus.
On the weekend, Mandy got into the festive mood in the kitchen when she baked a batch of mince pies and Pork pies.
On a cold and wet night we mooched down to the Rantzo taverna in Pissouri to see the local tribute act of "The Ratpack" Christmas show.
