Georgia's 8th Birthday 2011

Mandy put her cooking skills to use to make a cake to celebrate Georgia's 8th birthday. Family and friends gathered for a party and and afternoon of  fun and games.

While watching the International football match on Saturday evening we felt the ground shudder. A 4.2  Magnitude earthquake hit Cyprus at 16.25 local time.

Gerry and Joanne threw a St. Patrick's day shindig with a traditional Irish stew washed down with Jameson's whisky. There were also rumours of clog dancing, you know who you are...Mary !

   

 Lisa's Travel Adventure 2011
11.  On her final leg of her adventure Lisa flew to South Africa, visiting Cape Town, Joburg, Port Elizabeth and Durban. But the highlight of her trip was her visits to the National Parks including Addo Elephant park and the Kruger National Park.

  




  

Lisa arrived back in Cardiff on the 11th March 2011 after spending 5 months on the road and covering an amazing 67,728 miles on her various journeys.

  

Dodging some heavy showers, Rob & Steve hiked the Alektora loop, there is very little shelter in this area so they were lucky enough to only get caught in one downpour. The estimated distance was 13K.

For the last week this part of Cyprus has been lashed by high winds, heavy rain, electrical storms and hailstones. According to the forecast,The weather is due to break tomorrow, lets hope so. 
Yesterday we popped down to Cape Aspro to watch the rollers come crashing in from the sea.
