With the sun finally shining on Pissouri, hundreds of people gathered in the square for the Easter festivities. The entertainment included traditional music and dance, tug of war, strong man contest and various races for the kids.

                     

Ignoring the forecast of heavy showers, Paul and Judy invited us around for the first BBQ of the year. Paul was in charge of the chicken and did it in his own unique style. A small beer can full of herbs and spices was  inserted into the chicken for cooking, this also helps to keep the chicken upright.
Result.....perfectly cooked chicken.

 We have felt 2 Earthquakes within a week here in Pissouri. The first occurred last Saturday when were were having a quite drink with friends in a local bar, it measured a magnitude of 4.2 and its source was 28 miles South of Paphos.


The second quake happened at 4.30pm yesterday afternoon, this one measured a magnitude of 5.9 and its source was some 78miles East of Crete.
