Shirley's Birthday

  

On a lovely Summer's evening, The Courtyard of the Vraka taverna in Pissouri square was the venue for Shirley's surprise Birthday Party.

A big Thanks to Judith and Paul for their wonderful Hospitality.

The Annual Chris Polykarpou memorial darts competition took place at the 1911 club in Pissouri.

The overall winner for the evening was Bob Hurring.

Runner up was Damien Patrick.

Third place and also with the highest individual score of the evening went to John Gardener.

Mandria Beach

Mandria  beach bar was the meeting place for a Sunday afternoon picnic. Even a small  Donkey wandered into the bar to try his luck. After lunch we played boules on the beach.

Sadly, one of our guests (The usual suspect) had a "wardrobe malfunction "   which even scared the donkey away !

Brummies Fly in

Mandy’s family members, Roy, Janet, Dawn and Mark flew from Birmingham (where else  ?)  to Cyprus for a holiday.

We all trooped down to the 1911 club for a darts night, a good night ended with the eventual winners being  Sylvia and Rob.

The following day the Brummie crew held a BBQ on their terrace. Dawn made a wonderful roulade, sadly one of our guests comments on the roulade sent the

gang  into fits of laughter, regular readers of this blog will probably know who the culprit was.

Greyhound Racing

A very good crowd turned out at the 1911 club for a night of Greyhound Racing (video-style.) The overall winner on the night was Scuba Steve who took the honours when the Greyhound "Ma's Landing" won him  a bundle of Funny money on the final race, of course he celebrated like a 3 year old who'd just had his first Farley's Rusk.

Judy and Paul hosted a BBQ

Judy and Paul hosted a BBQ as part of a double birthday celebration. An 8 hour power cut ended just in time as the party guests arrived. A big Thanks  to Judy and Paul for a lovely afternoon.

Party In the Park (Episkopi)

Party in the Park

On  a glorious Summer's evening, along with a coach load of Pissouri residents  we made our way down to Happy Valley in Episkopi for "Party in the Park".

There was a great  selection of  picnic food and plenty of cold beverages to make the party go with a swing.

Live music was provided by The Rockhoppers, Hitched and No off switch.

The singalong on the coach home was highly entertaining, big thanks to Tracy for leading the band.
