The following day, the Nutters met up at the Olympus palace restaurant for a party organsed by Steve. They had a few refreshing drinks, a lovely souva meal and then danced the afternoon away to the tunes of Danny Delaney. To top off a wonderful weekend, our good friend Scuba Steve asked his girlfriend, Mary, to marry him, she said YES !

The Legion Run
Well the big day finally arrived when the "Pissouri Nutters" made their way to Larnaca to take part in The Legion run. Our team was just a small part of the estimated 4,500 runners. The "Nutters" did an outstanding job of completing the course in just over 2 hours.
The team braved iced water, barbed wire, fire, mud and numerous other obstacles on their way around the Course.

The final countdown
The "Pissouri Nutters Legion team" held their final beach boot camp at Pissouri beach. This time they were caught on camera by a professional film crew coming soon. This course was of a better quality, it took four of us several hours to built and included tunnels, fences and one of the obstacles was actually in the sea.
We have 2 weeks left until the Legion run in Larnaca.

Boot camp Part 2
Another Saturday morning, another Boot camp down at Pissouri beach. This week our local Royal marine instructor laid out an assault course using weights, sandbags, tyres, log poles and other various tasks. Just to add to the fun he made us do sit ups in surf and I can tell you that sea was not exactly warm.
After the workout, it was a quick clean up and then we enjoyed a well earned breakfast at the Delizie cafe.

The weekend started with the"Pissouri Nutters" holding their first boot camp session down at Pissouri beach. Instructor, Stu, put the gang through their paces with a variety of exercises with included industrial tyres and sawn off telegraph poles.
After the session the group retired to the Delzie cafe for a well earned breakfast
On Saturday evening we celebrated Karen's birthday with a visit to The Pissouri bay cafe and then a smashing curry at Saffron.
On Sunday a sandy Mist rolled in from the South that sent a blanket of "fog" over our small village.
