Village Nursery Presentation Ceremony

A small Ceremony was held at the Village nursery school to present a cheque to the school to help purchase much needed  equipment. Various events have been held including the raffle of a hand made quilt, a cake and coffee morning and of course, the Pissouri Nutters and their efforts in the recent Legion run.
The final total raised was over 2,800 Euros.

The local kids put on a small musical show to Say Thank You to the residents.

............and so Summer begins

The daytime temperatures have risen quite significantly since Easter and it seems as if Summer has begun.

The new fad of the "Selfie" came to our house and the result was a bit worrying .

On Saturday evening we made our way to Geriskipou which lies on the outskirts of the town of Paphos. Along with friends from Pissouri we went "Costas" taverna for a night of Live Greek music.

Pissouri Square was the focal point for the Easter celebrations over the weekend.  A variety of music and dancing kept the large crowd entertained.

The Easter weekend began  with heavy drizzle, but the skies soon cleared in time for the 1911 Easter BBQ. Martin and Kelvin cooked up some superb food and  DJ Tracey provided the tunes for the afternoon.
