1911 and Pebble Rebble

Our first stop of the Day was the 1911 club to say Goodbye to Jim who is returning to the UK shortly. We wish Jim and Jane all the best.

We then moved onto Pissouri bay for the Grand opening of the fashion shop "Pebble Rebel". Janie Marie and Gary made all the guests welcome with a superb bbq and a few cold drinks. We wish them every success.

The guest were then all entertained with a fashion show performed by local residents.

Party in the Park

To support Armed forces day, we, along with a bus load of other Pissourians made our way down to Happy Valley, Episkopi for the annual "Party in the Park" On a sweltering afternoon a large crowd enjoyed the musical entertainment from a number of acts including the The military wives choir, The Blues Brother, Firing Blanks and ending up with the tribute act Take That 2.

Bush fire

The Pissouri amphitheater was the venue for a Rod Stewart tribute act performed by Bob Wyper. Rod soon had the crowd on their feet as he belted out all the old hits.














The threat of bush fire is very real threat and the first large one to been seen from Pissouri occurred this week. The helicopters were soon up in the air to douse the flames.




Despite the soaring Summer temperatures in Cyprus, the Pissouri fitness group keep up their workouts, but an early start is needed and a little shade helps.

Queen in Pissouri and Clearstream tv

The Queen tribute act "Mercury and May" came to the Pissouri amphitheatre and entertained an enthusiastic crowd for 2 hours of Queen's greatest hits.


















This weekend we also joined the world of  live internet tv with a Clearstream tv box.

Pissouri Village fete

Despite the unusual weather that we are having at the start of June in Cyprus, the village fete was held on the local football pitch.

Pissouri fitness also held a demonstration of the courses available and to encourage the youngsters into a healthier lifestyle.
