Charity BBQ and a Cool kids Video

On a sunny Saturday afternoon we walked down to the 1911 club to attend a charity BBQ to raise funds for the local Girl guide and Brownies group. Local singer and mean guitar player provided the music and the food served up was delicious. A raffle was also held and Rob won a DVD of a train journey through the  Rockies. Mandy also won a couple of bottles in the raffle.

We also finished a short video of the family's  recent visit to Cyprus.

Final Day with The Family

We spent our final day of our family's visit in Pissouri.
We had lunch at the Ampeli restaurant before spending a lazy afternoon in the beer garden of the Grape and Grain with lots of time on the slide  and playing with kittens.

Sarah and Lee agreed that their first overseas's holiday 

with the kids had been a runaway success.

Baby sitting duties, a visit to Curium beach and Barry White Tribute

On Friday evening we took on baby sitting duties as Lee and Sarah went out deserved meal together, both kids slept like babies.

The next day we drove over to curium beach, we  had a spot of lunch and then played on the beach before stopping off at the strawberry farm for some fruit.

In the evening, Mandy joined several friends at The Platea taverna to see a Barry White tribute artist.

The Flavs arrive in Cyprus and hit the beach

On a beautiful early Summer afternoon, Sarah, Lee, Jude and Cari flew into Paphos from Bristol, UK. We met them in the arrival lounge and then swiftly loaded up the cars and headed back to Pissouri bay.

We spent the afternoon catching up on family News and showing the kids their holiday toys.

On our first day with the Flav's we made our way down to Pissouri bay beach. Jude loved throwing stones in the sea with his dad. We then had lunch and the kids enjoyed an Ice cream, well...until Jude dropped his in Rob's lap.

A Engagement and The Cypriot Easter

Exciting News from the UK when Andrew asked Lisa for her hand in marriage and Lisa said.....Yes ! 
We wish  the Happy couple our best wishes for their future.

The Cypriot Easter celebrations started on Friday as local villagers attended a Church service and the Icon was paraded through the streets of the Village.

On Eater Sunday we made our first visit of the year to the Ampeli restaurant in Pissouri. We enjoyed a souvla buffet lunch with friends.

"Micki" as Whitney Houston in Pissouri

The Platea taverna in Pissouri square was the venue for a tribute act to Whitney Houston performed by "Micki". Mandy joined a number of friends who all agreed that Micki, with her superb voice,  was by far the best tribute act to visit Cyprus.
