A Hillview Quiz night and a George Michael tribute.

Friday meant another visit to The Hillview restaurant for Alan's dinner quiz night. Although our team "Under Pressure", once again  did not trouble the leader board, we all had a good evening with plenty of laughs and a lovely meal.

Mandy joined the Ladies of Pissouri as they enjoyed the George Michael tribute act performed by Andrew Browning. A decent crowd enjoyed  a night of music and dancing.

The Unseasonal weather continues in Cyprus  as Pissouri was hit with two days of downpours of rain, most unusual for mid June.

A trip to Aphrodite's Rock brewery

On a muggy Saturday morning we joined a coach full of friends for a visit to Aphrodite's rock brewery. The journey to the brewery which lies North of Paphos took about 50 minutes.
We started off our journey in Pissouri just as a few drops of rain fell but by the time we got to Paphos we hit a downpour of rain as flood rain passed the bus.

 We all enjoyed a pre lunch glass or two of beer as the thunder and lightening cracked around us. After very good lunch we settled down in the beer garden as the sun came out.
