A Beatles tribute and Cari's 5th Birthday

 On a very warm, early Summer's evening   Mandy joined Tania and Pete to watch a "Beatles duo" tribute act. Although the event was not that well attended, the duo kept the audience entertained  with all the old hits.

                                      

Back in the UK, our Goddaughter, Cari, celebrated her  fifth birthday with a family gathering at her Auntie Lisa's house.

Cari had lots of gifts, a special cake and even won a dance off competition with her brother, Jude. Here in Cyprus we managed to join the party via a video call.

Mandria Music Fest.

The village of Mandria, which is a 20 minute drive from Pissouri, was the venue for its musical festival. The festival was held in the village square, where numerous acts were each given 40 minutes on stage.

The local tavernas did a roaring trade from the hundreds of visitors to the festival and they were entertained by some very talented people on the stage.

We chose the the Klimataria taverna where we enjoyed a few drinks, a tasty souvla lunch and had a good view of the stage.

The Full Monty in Paphos

 Mandy organised a  coach for the Ladies of Pissouri down to Atlantida beach bar in Paphos to see the show "The Full Monty". On a beautiful Spring evening the ladies were entertained by several acts before the Headline act, The Full Monty, chaos ensued.
