On a bright Summer's day we flew from Birmingham airport (UK) we flew to the Spanish City of Alicante.
We started our adventure by exploring Alicante itself, wandering through its historic quarter, El Barrio, with its narrow cobbled streets that twist and turn through colorful houses. The imposing Santa Bárbara Castle loomed above us, a silent sentinel offering panoramic views of the sea and city below. Robin and Johan, always up for a challenge, raced each other up the steep path, their laughter echoing through the old stones as they reached the top, breathless but triumphant.
We rented a car and set off on the drive from Alicante to Playa Flamenca, a popular beach destination about 45 minutes south. The drive itself was scenic and calming, with the azure waters of the Mediterranean glittering to our left and the dry, sun-bleached hills of the Costa Blanca rising to our right.
Robin and Johan, seated in the back, were captivated by the landscape. As we drove past endless groves of olive and almond trees.
On the first evening we all met up at a nearby Social club, where we enjoyed live music as the sunset on our first day.
The Following Day we all hit the local beach at Playa Flamenca and spent the day relaxing in the warm Spanish sun and swimming in the Meditterean sea.
The Next day we took around the local town, where we noticed numerous statues dotted around the town,
