The Pissouri Bay bar was the venue for a Cuban themed "Havana Nights". The music was provided by Yamaya Son and we enjoyed Cuba libres, Mojitos and Cuban cigars. There was also some impressive moves on the Dance floor.
On the weekend, local volunteers gathered on Pissouri beach to ensure that the baby turtles made it safely to the sea. Over 100 hatchlings were helped on their way to the water's edge.

Trout for Lunch, the Junction Cafe and Race for Life
On a warm Saturday morning we drove 45 minutes up into the Troodos mountains to the village of Phini. We spent some time exploring this picturesque village before heading over to the local tavern for lunch. The area is well know for its trout, so we ordered the house special of trout and thoroughly enjoyed the meal washed down with a glass of wine.
On the way home we saw yet another fire in the distance of the Troodos mountains.

The Journey's end and a Morning's shooting.
Well..... Wales's journey in the European football Championship ended this week when they were defeated 2-0 by Portugal in the Semi final's. Its been a great tournament and the Welsh team and The Welsh fans have made their Country proud. An estimated 400,000 people lined the streets of Cardiff to welcome the team home.
The next morning a group of us drove over to the Episkopi Gun club for a morning of clay pigeon shooting. For quite of few of us it was our first time but with a patient tutor we soon shot those (Clay) birds from the skies.

A Historical Night for Welsh football.
I make no apologies for posting about last night's superb performance by the Welsh National football team in the Euro's 2016 Championship. Prior to the game we received a photo of our own little mascot "Jude the Dude" in his Welsh Jersey.
Wales were playing the tournament favourites, Belgium, in the Quarter final. The Belgium team took the lead with a stunning goal but the Welsh team came roaring back with three outstanding goals to stun the World of football and send our side in to the Semi final against Portugal.
