Trout for Lunch, the Junction Cafe and Race for Life

On a warm Saturday morning we drove 45  minutes up into the Troodos mountains to the village of Phini. We spent some time exploring this picturesque village before heading over to the local tavern for lunch. The area is well know for its trout, so we ordered the house special of trout and thoroughly enjoyed the meal washed down with a glass of wine.

On the way home we saw yet another  fire in the distance of the Troodos mountains.

On Sunday we popped down to the newly opened Junction cafe in Pissouri bay for Brunch, we wish them well with their new venture.

On Sunday afternoon in South Wales, Sarah completed the "Race for Life" challenge and her lovely boy was waiting for her at the finish.
