A visit to South Wales

We decided to have a pre Christmas visit to South Wales (UK.) We were slightly  concerned that the Snow storms that covered most of the UK would hamper our travel plans, but we were lucky that the South West of the Country missed the severe weather.

We took the four and a half hour flight from Paphos to Bristol airport.
The difference in temperature was the first thing we noticed as we exited the plane as freezing chilled wind hit us. We hopped in a cab and headed over to our B&B in the near by village of Winford.

The next morning we collected our  hire car and made our way over the river Seven to Cardiff.  One of the main things we noticed about our drive was the amount of traffic on British roads.

We stopped off at Sara and Lee's house and met baby Cari for the first time and also to say hello to baby Jude. Lisa and Pat also joined up as Sarah cooked up a lovely meal.

On Wednesday we strolled into Cardiff to do some shopping and then went over the "Winter Wonderland that is situated outside the City's impressive Civiv center.
