We think that this has been the longest heatwave we have seen since we have lived on the Island.
We normally do not use the air conditioning units, but has been a must over the last couple of weeks, especially night. We normally get a cooling breeze from the West, but we have had little or no breeze to help conditions.
To celebrate Sylvia's 82 nd birthday we popped over to the Sappire bar in Paphos. After a very good meal we were entertained by Chris King 's Elvis Tribute show.
The birthday celebrations ended with a "Hen night " at the Pissouria restaurant. Sylvia's friends toasted the lady in style and all the guests enjoyed a meal of suckling pig.
