Droushia Heights - Cyprus

 Trying to escape the extreme temperatures we drove up to the village of Droushia and checked into a lovely apartment right next door to the Droushia heights hotel.

Thankfully  we were allowed to use all the hotel facilities, so we spent the afternoon poolside.

In the evening we took the short stroll into the village of Droushia,  this is a tiny village but full of old world charm with its cobbled streets and original  stone houses and traditional  Cypriot buildings. 

We then enjoyed a traditional Cypriot meal at the O Stathmos taverna of moussaka and stifado.
