From its elevated position (at or near the entrance of the village), you get views over the hills, valleys, olive groves or rural farmland, dotted with traditional Cypriot houses, and the distant coastline.
We then made our way over to the Bunch of Grapes restaurant. We sat down in their beautiful courtyard and all enjoyed the splendid the the BOG are known for.
The courtyard is part of a traditional 200-year-old manor house converted into the inn.
It’s lushly gardened, there are mulberry trees (ancient ones) giving shade, grape vines, and lots of bougainvillea with bright colours.
