Leaving Paphos Airport on a mild evening felt like stepping gently out of one season and into another. The air was still soft and forgiving, the kind that makes you linger just a little longer before boarding. Inside the EasyJet cabin, the mood was unmistakably festive—the cabin crew were dressed in cheerful Christmas outfits.
The journey itself passed smoothly, but the real contrast came on arrival. Touching down at Bristol Airport around midnight, we descended the aircraft steps straight into a sharp drop in temperature. The biting wind cut through coats and scarves, instantly announcing that we were back in winter’s grip.
Relief came quickly once we reached the hotel. Stepping inside to warmth and stillness felt like a small victory after the long day of travel.
