On a glorious, Boxing day morning we set off on another road trip, this time we headed East of Pissouri. Our first stop was Lady’s mile beach, but there was such a strong Onshore wind that you could hardly stand.
We then headed towards the village of Finikaria that sits above the Germasogeia reservoir. With sweeping views across the valley we set up our picnic chairs for a light lunch.
To "blow away the Cobwebs" , we took a trip over to Pafos waterfront. The harbour area is usually a hive of activity but we have never seen it so quiet. The weather was glorious as well as the lovely walk along the coast.
We were kindly invited around to Jane and Arthur's house for pre Christmas drinks and a lovely meal and Rob smoked his first cigar in Five years
Santa made an appearence in Pissouri on his horse drawn, magic coach as it weaved its through the narrow streets of the village handing out gifts to the local children.

We stopped of at the Rocks of Hasampoulia to watch the rock climbers practice their skills.
We then passed through the small villages of Kedares and Agios Nikolaos until we reached the Arminou reservoir. From the road above the reservoir there are some superb views across the valley to the Troodos Mountains.
We made our way down the meandering road to the river valley below, we took in the beautiful surroundings of the pine trees and babbling river.
