We took advantage of the good weather and headed out on another Sunday road trip. We headed West from Pissouri and then headed North up the Dhiarizos valley
We stopped of at the Rocks of Hasampoulia to watch the rock climbers practice their skills.
We then passed through the small villages of Kedares and Agios Nikolaos until we reached the Arminou reservoir. From the road above the reservoir there are some superb views across the valley to the Troodos Mountains.
We made our way down the meandering road to the river valley below, we took in the beautiful surroundings of the pine trees and babbling river.
We then strolled over to the Tzelefos bridge which is one of several Venetian bridges in the area. From the bridge we watched a number of Quad bike make their way up the middle of the river.
We then headed over to the picturesque village of Omodos, sadly all cafes and restaurants were closed due to the pandemic, luckily we had a picnic lunch with us.
We then strolled around the cobbled streets of this impressive village, all too soon it was time to head home to Pissouri.
