A road trip to Lasa

On a beautiful Sunday morning we took a drive up towards the Pafos forest. This is a very picturesque drive with sweeping views either side of the road.

Our first stop was the village of Pano Panayia, this village is the birth place of Archbishop Makarios III. Sadly his birthplace was closed when we arrived but we did visit the square where his statue is situated and there is also a museum dedicated to his life.

We then moved onto the Kennaviou reservoir, we arrived to find that we were the only people there. The views of the forest reflected in the water were stunning.

We then drove onto the tiny village of Lasa, we were lucky enough to find a small picnic area with wonderful views across the valley.
