We decided to take a tour of the Northern towns and villages of Gran Canaria.
Our first stop was the small town of Ingenio, it was only a short visit, which was helpful because we had visited the town a few years earlier for a longer period of time.
We then moved onto the mountain town of Teror, we had visited here before but it's always a pleasure to see the picturesque streets and its impressive church.
We the had a lunch break at the Meson grill Los Choros were we enjoyed a pretty good meal.
Then we took the short drive to Firgas, the town is famous for its street mosaics that represent the whole of the Canaries. There also some stunning views of the coastline from here.
Passing numerous banana plantations, our final stop was at the Port of Agaete where the Atlantic crashes against the sea defences. The port is lined with seafood restaurants and the aromas coming from them certainly whet the appetite.
Returning to Las Palmas we enjoyed our final meal on the seafront and watched the sunset behind the local hills.
