The morning started with light drizzle so we took the short walk over to the tourist information centre, they were very helpful and gave us a lot of tips for our stay on the Island.
Then the weather took a turn for the worse as the heavens opened up and the rain poured down in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Later in the morning the clouds cleared so we took a walk around the Port area taking in some of the street art.
We the decided to hop on a local tram and ride up to the old Historical town of Laguna which was once the capital of Tenerife. The tram ride takes around 30 minutes from the City.
After a few hours wandering the cobbled streets of Laguna we made our way back to the City.
In the evening we walked over to Restaurante Tasca La Rebotica where we enjoyed an excellent meal of tuna and cod.
